Social Decline and Unhappy Children
I believe that there is a distinct correlation between today's decline in moral standards and the absence of a father in far to many families these days.
However don't be to keen to blame this fact on fathers who don’t keep in contact with their children. Many children are prevented from seeing their father by their mother, and this unbelievable stance is often backed up by court order issued solely on an assumption that such an order will protect the mother from whatever imagined or real threat they claim the father represents.
Despite many equal parenting and pro father organisations raising this issue with the government over the course of the last 30 years, no government has yet seen fit to put the child first in parental separation matters.
Until the government and the family courts begin to put children first, fathers will carry on becoming more and more absent from the British household.
